Here is your guide to spring events in 2019 in the Destin, 30A and Emerald Coast area. Now is the time when many of the weekly events will begin, like the popular farmers markets, or family movie nights.

April 2019

Monday Movie Night at Harborwalk Village - March 18- May 27

Downtown FWB Street Fest - April 5: 5 pm-8 pm
Friday night downtown Fort Walton street market with vendors, live entertainment on the 1st Friday of the month, ending in May.


2019 Annual Sandestin Wine Festival - April 11-April 14
Four days of wine tasting, dinners, celebrity chefs and so much more. This is a popular event held at the Village of Baytowne Wharf. www.sandestinwinefestival.com


South Walton Beaches Wine & Food Festival | April 25th-28th
A weekend of great wines, fine foods, live music from national artists, culinary celebrities and more will be held throughout the Town Center of Grand Boulevard at Sandestin. An assortment of over 800 wines will be available to try at the Grand Tasting event on Saturday, along with delicious food to pair with the variety of wines. Musical Echoes Native American Flute Festival | April 26th-28th
Held each April at the Fort Walton Beach Landing on Santa Rosa Sound, this 3-day event features live music and dance performances while interacting with Native American artisans, watching demonstrations, attending seminars, and learning to play or make a Native American style flute. | Info: http://www.musicalechoes.org/


Saturday in the Park - April 27
The Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida will hold its 43rd annual Saturday in the Park Heritage Festival from 8 AM to 4 PM. The festival begins with the Heritage 5K Run/Walk and Kid’s Fun Run at 8 AM, then a day filled with re-enactments, traditional craft demonstrations, live entertainment, craft and food vendors, old-fashioned games and contests, a kid zone with crafts and more. Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers Crawfish Boil & 5k - April 27
Help kick the tail out of crime, and have a great time doing it! Join Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers Saturday, April 21st for a good ole' fashioned crawfish boil at Uptown Station, Fort Walton Beach! The fun starts at 8AM with the Mudbug 5k Run/Walk and at 11AM we'll have lots of Louisiana Crawfish to boil up and shrimp as well! It's gonna be fun for the whole family! Dikki Du and the Zydeco Krewe Band will be performing from 10-2, live radio remote and the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office will have a K-9 on hand. Bring the whole clan, eat some great food, help stomp out crime and just have a great time! $15 a box OR 4 boxes for $50!

Burning up the Beaches | May 2-4th
Not only a car show, Burning Up the Beaches is a charity event with cruises to local hot spots, live music, parties, dinner, and prizes as well. Proceeds go to The Arc of the Emerald Coast helping those with developmental disabilities. Emerald Coast Bike Fest - May 2-5th
Fort Walton Beach's biggest bike rally sponsored by Emerald Coast Harley-Davidson®, features free concerts everyday, a bike giveaway, quality vendors, food and beverage, including a full bar, sold on site, charity poker runs, and hundreds of Harley-Davidson® motorcycles.

ArtsQuest: A Fine Art & Fine Craft Festival | May 11th-12th
ArtsQuest takes place each May in the beautiful Town Center of Grand Boulevard- A Mother's Day Weekend tradition! 150 fine artists from around the country exhibiting in over a dozen mediums and will fill Grand Boulevard's Town Center with great live music, live art demonstrations, food and beverages, and ImagiNation (where kids rule). ArtsQuest awards $10,000 in cash prizes and is a rain or shine event. Digital Graffiti Festival | May 17th-18th
Now in its 12th year, this 2-day festival transforms the white walls in Alys Beach into a living work of art. Emerald Coast Blue Marlin Classic at Sandestin | June 19-23
