Condos in the Destin and 30A area saw more substantial increases with a 21% gain overall in average condo prices. Several areas saw huge price increases including: 30A East (+71%), 30A West (+35%), Miramar/Sandestin Resort (+31%), and Niceville (+13%). There were 500 condos sold in the first quarter 2018 for an average 96% of list price.

The highest price condo sold was $2,200,000 in Sanctuary by the Sea.

1st quarter home sales 2018 for Destin and 30A

Single-family homes in the Destin and 30A communities saw a 3% average price increase compared to the first quarter in 2017. The largest increases in average sale price were in Fort Walton Beach (+21%), 30A West (+14%), and 30A East (+7%). There were 862 homes sold in the first quarter 2018 for an average 97% of list price.

The highest price house sold was $10,100,000 in Bannerman Beach Place.

Townhomes in Destin and the 30A saw an overall price increase of 8% compared to 2017. The biggest gains were in Miramar/Sandestin Resort (+25%), Fort Walton Beach (+18%), 30A East (+8%), and North Santa Rosa Beach (+6%). There were 168 townhomes sold in the first quarter 2018 for an average of 97% of their list price.

Beachfront homes in Destin and along the 30A showed a slight drop in number sold, but this was mainly due to lack of inventory. The same period in 2017 produced 45 active listings, 2018 had only 9. Average sale prices showed some huge gains, however, in Miramar/Sandestin Resort (+150%) and 30A West (+19%).
