Here are the Destin and 30A real estate stats for the period covering January to June 2018. You'll find a comparison to the same period last year.
2018 YTD Condo Sales for Destin & 30A
Destin condo sales increased by 24% with a 5% increase in Average Sales. The new Henderson Lofts has really taken off with 34 sales during this time period. Holiday Surf & Racquet, Silver Shells and Sterling Shores.
Condos in Miramar / Sandestin Resort showed a 21% increase in Number Sold and a substantial 20% Price Increase. Popular properties included Alerio, Amalfi Coast Resort, Ariel Dunes, Grand Dunes, Luau I & II, Tides at Tops'l and Tops'l Beach Manor.
Condos in 30A East were slightly lower in number, -3% from last period, but prices have skyrocketed up 19%. Several luxury condos, over the $1 million mark were sold in Watersound, Watercolor, and Rosemary Beach which pushed up the average sold prices.
2018 YTD Home Sales for Destin & 30A
Single-family home sales in Destin and the 30A showed small gains in volume, but we did see considerable increases in the average sale prices. Fort Walton Beach is up 14%, 30A West, Destin and Niceville were up 9%.
2018 YTD Townhome Sales for Destin & 30A
Townhomes in the Destin and 30A market had some substantial increases in the first half of 2018. Some of these included:
30A East at 24% with an 18% increase in Average Sale Prices; plus 43 sales in the Prominence complex in Inlet Beach contributing to these numbers.
2018 YTD Beachfront Home Sales for Destin & 30A
Single-Family beachfront home sales in Destin and 30A were fairly quiet with no huge gains. However, Miramar/Sandestin Resort showed a huge 70% increase in average sale price for the three homes sold in Shipwatch, Tang-O-Mar and the new Richards community.
