The Golf Experience at Regatta Bay
Big on service, you'll find that it's the little things that help make your day at Regatta Bay. Things like mango-scented towels and iced apples at the 1st and 10th holes. The state-of-the-art Parview GPS system on the golf carts will keep you on top of your game.
The dining room overlooking Lake Regatta, is perfect for breakfast before or after your game, light lunch, happy hour, or for fine dining. This is a popular venue for weddings and special events.
The Course
Pretty much every hole has some sort of bunker or water hazard, but your best bet for a birdie is the first hole. Others, such as the 6th hole look simple enough, but the the elevated green can cost some valuable strokes. Expect the occasional uphill drive, over water, sand or unexpected Gulf winds. Hole #9 will test your putting accuracy with a two-tiered green, and Hole #11 with its subtle breaks that may easily land your ball in the water.
Hole #18, if nothing else guarantees to be memorable. This par 5 has it all, water, sand, multi-level green and long grass. It can be approached with a big, confident drive for the ultimate risk reward, or a sensible, short approach. Labelled "Tin-Cup," you'll likely be talking about this hole at the end of the day, over a beer in the clubhouse.
Living in Regatta Bay
After visiting the course and being immersed in the peaceful surroundings, many people choose to relocate to Regatta Bay either permanently or as a seasonal residence.
