Seaside offers several conveniences and services including, a post office fronted by an amphitheatre in the central square of Seaside as well as an interfaith chapel, visitors bureau, insurance agency, merchant association, radio station, bike rental and surgical care.
Schools
Seaside Neighbourhood School, Florida’s first charter school, was created in 1996 to prevent overcrowding in the Walton County schools and includes grades 5 to 8. Seacoast Collegiate High School currently includes grades 9 to 11 and will add grade 12 in the fall of 2015.
Art Friendly
A community that truly embraces the arts, has a busy calendar of events, including regular concerts in the Amphitheatre. 'Escape to Create' celebrates artists and serves the community of Seaside with residencies and outreach programs.
The Repertory Theatre performs plays by a professional theatre troupe to over 25,000 people per year and offers internships to local high school students. In January, the popular 30A Songwriters Festival has venues in Seaside.
