Mardi Gras in Okaloosa Island FLOn Saturday, January 15, 2016, you don't want to miss the 13th Annual Mardi Gras Parade held on Okaloosa Island, Fort Walton Beach FL. This New Orleans-style event is a fun time for the whole family. Get ready to catch beads and other goodies tossed from the decorative floats in this incredible setting overlooking the Gulf of Mexico.  Sponsored by the Abita Brewing Company this popular Okaloosa Island festival was the first of its kind on the Gulf Coast.

The parade starts at the corner of Santa Rosa Blvd, and Tarpon Drive (on Okaloosa Island) and then winds its way eastward on Santa Rosa Blvd, ending at the Tom Thumb. After the parade join the fun at a block party held at Helen Back on Amberjack Drive.

It's not too late to register your float, just contact Rachelle Graves at 850-244-8191.
