Okaloosa County STUFF THE BUS EVENT - JULY 29, 2023
Give our kids a boost by helping them get the supplies they need for the school year. Stuff the Bus is a back to school supply drive held on July 29, 2023, from 8 am to 4 pm at three local Walmart locations. The timing is perfect to take advantage of Florida's tax-free weekend and add a few extra school supplies to your cart, or give a monetary donation so our local schools can utilize bulk discounts.
Locations:
Walmart - Crestview (3351 S Ferdon Blvd)
Walmart - Fort Walton Beach (748 Beal Pkwy NW)
Walmart - Niceville (1300 E John Sims Pkwy E)

Most needed supplies:
- Crayons
- Colored Pencils
- Washable Markers
- Dry Erase Markers
- Folders
- Backpacks
- #2 Pencils (Dixon/Ticonderoga preferred)
- Mechanical Pencils
- Glue Sticks
- Notebooks
- Composition Notebooks
- Loose Leaf Paper
- Binders (one or one & 1/2 inch)
- Cap erasers
Can't make it on July 29? Here are a few pre-event drop off locations you can take advantage of:
DONATION DROP OFF LOCATIONS
Starting July 1st you can stop by any of the following businesses and drop off school supplies:
- Cox Communications’ Store- Crestview and FWB
- United Fidelity- FWB
- T’ hairapy Salon & Spa- Niceville/Bluewater
The following will start collecting on July 10th
- CCB Bank- Crestview
- UWF- FWB Campus
- Warren Averett- Destin and FWB
- Niceville and FWB Chamber of Commerce
July 28th we will have a bus in the parking lot of United Fidelity for anyone wanting to drop off school supplies The bus will be there from 10-2.
