WaterColor has grown in popularity, becoming a leading 30A community. With approximately 1,000 people per day using the Beach Club alone, it's time to expand the facilities and make the amenities more accessible for homeowners and their guests.

Improvements such as these mentioned below, only help to increase home values, stimulate sales, and contribute to a vibrant rental market.

New Beach Club - More Space - More Fun

The addition of two additional resort-style pools will triple the pool and deck size at the beach club. There will be more seating and dedicated sunbathing areas with new cabanas. Terraced decks ensure that everyone gets a great Gulf view. In addition, poolside food service will be increased, making this one of the most impressive facilities on the 30A.

Camp WaterColor

This incredibly popular destination for young WaterColor residents will also triple the size of the existing pool. It will feature zero-entry pool access, a huge splash pad and a waterslide. Food and beverage service will be added, so that this area can be a day long destination for the whole family.

Security enhancements will be applied in all areas, ensuring only those permitted can use the amenities.

We are traveling to the area this coming week. Curious to know if the expansion construction project for Watercolor has started? If not, when are they scheduled to break ground as we may come back to Destin this summer and just want to know lay of the land.

Although the expansion has been approved by members, I haven't seen a firm start date for construction as yet.
