
What's Happening Over the Holidays in Destin?
Destin knows how to do up Christmas and New Year's up right. From the lights, parades to the fireworks and local celebrations, it's a busy time here during the holidays. Here is a glimpse of some of the tried and true events in Destin and along the 30A you won't want to miss:
DECEMBER 2017
Festive Light Show - Dec 6-30 | 6, 7 and 8 pm
Festive light show at the Village of Baytowne Wharf every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from Dec. 6-30.
Destin Christmas Parade - Dec 9 | 10 am
The 33rd annual Christmas parade begins at the Downtown Destin Shopping Center to Stahlman Avenue. View floats from the north side of Harbor Boulevard.
Destin Boat Parade - Dec 10 | 6-8 pm
Watch this popular parade followed by fireworks and firespinning on the main stage with 'Just Add Fire'. Takes place at the Destin Harbor.
New Year's Eve Street Party - Dec 31 | 8-12 pm
Celebrate New Year's Eve at Harbor Walk Village. Dine at your favorite restaurante, enjoy live music and 2 firework shows over the harbor. www.emeraldcoastfl.com/things-to-do/upcoming-events/new-year-s-eve-street-party/
Grande Gala New Year's Eve Celebration - Dec 31 | 8-12 pm
Ring in the new year dining from a chef selected menu while listening to live music and a toast at midnight.

POPULAR ONGOING EVENTS
Coastal White Christmas - Nov 18-Jan1
Thousands of white light decorate the Town Center in Grand Boulevard. Every Friday and Saturday night in December are free horse-drawn carriage rides under faux snow falls. Take in the Festival of Trees in Grand Park from 5-8 pm and the Dickens Carolers from 5-7 pm.
Santa at HarborWalk Village - Nov 25-Dec 17 | 12-4 pm
Come see Santa and receive a treat. Every Saturday and Sunday from Nov. 25 to Dec. 17.
Tee Off for Toys - Dec 9-10 | 7 am - 5 pm
Donate a new or unused toy, unwrapped or gift card at least $15.00 in value and play at one of Sandestin's public golf courses plus cart fee. Toys donated will be given to several local charities.
